I thought, well what else for me to come. Richard had me on the way here already stated that there is a Council, which decides everything. However, the circle leaders always have the last word. I would have all the council members know. How old probably already had all ready? What I still had to learn everything? My life, I had really changed, but it was so much the better. My life as a man was anything but beautiful. How did Eros attention to me? Why me? I would probably never know. I heard the door and immediately turn to go, but before I could ever look, Senad already sat beside me on the bed. That really frightened me. I sat up and looked at him. He was now no longer white. His skin was slightly reddish. He had an awful lot of blood drank. Smiling, he moved me up and took me in his arms. His hands were stroking my hair. He was incredibly warm. I felt very comfortable. He whispered into my ear: "I know that you still have blood thirst. Serve yourself. I've drunk with." Should I bite him? I hesitated, but then I bite him in the neck and drank. The blood was strong. After a few swallow I find the whole body to shake. I was hot and I felt not well. Senad said repeatedly to me that I should drink more. It struck me, however, increasingly difficult. He stroked me hair. That calmed me a bit, but I was shaking more and more. Then there was that I felt when I would burn inwardly. Finally, I could not be more different, and left up to him. I am still clinging to him trembling. His hand stroked the hair on further: "It is the same over, Merrick. Do not be afraid." The I was. What in the world happened to me? Slowly, I was again cool and calmed me. The whole thing had me but so much exhausted that I Senad's arms asleep.

Ich dachte nach, was wohl noch alles auf mich zu kommen würde. Richard hatte mir auf dem Weg hierher bereits erklärt, dass es einen Rat gibt, der über alles entscheidet. Jedoch hat der Ordensführer immer das letzte Wort. Ich würde die Ratsmitglieder alle noch kennen lernen. Wie alt die wohl alle bereit schon waren? Was ich wohl noch alles lernen musste? Mein Leben hatte ich ganz schön verändert, aber es war so besser. Mein Leben als Mensch war alles andere als schön. Wie war Eros auf mich aufmerksam geworden? Warum gerade ich? Das würde ich wohl nie erfahren. Ich hörte die Tür auf und gleich wieder zu gehen, aber bevor ich überhaupt nachschauen konnte, saß Senad bereits neben mir auf dem Bett. Das erschreckte mich ganz schön. Ich setzte mich auf und sah ihn an. Er war nun überhaupt nicht mehr weiß. Seine Haut war sogar etwas rötlich geworden. Er musste unheimlich viel Blut getrunken haben. Lächelnd zog er mich zu sich und nahm mich in die Arme. Seine Hand streichelten mein Haar. Er war unglaublich warm. Ich fühlte mich sehr wohl. Er flüsterte mir ins Ohr: „Ich weiß, dass du noch Blutdurst hast. Bediene dich. Ich habe für dich mit getrunken.“ Sollte ich ihn wirklich beißen? Ich zögerte, doch dann biss ich ihm doch in den Hals und trank. Das Blut war stark. Nach ein paar Schlücken find ich an am ganzen Körper zu zittern. Mir war heiß und ich fühlte mich dabei nicht wohl. Senad sprach mir immer wieder zu, dass ich weiter trinken sollte. Es fiel mir jedoch zunehmend schwerer. Er streichelte mich weiter übers Haar. Das beruhigte mich etwas, jedoch zitterte ich immer stärker. Dazu kam, dass ich mich fühlte, als würde ich innerlich verbrennen. Schließlich konnte ich nicht mehr anders und ließ von ihm ab. Ich klammerte mich noch immer zitternd an ihn. Seine Hand streichelte weiter über die Haare: „Es ist gleich vorbei, Merrick. Hab keine Angst.“ Die hatte ich aber. Was in aller Welt geschah mit mir? Langsam wurde ich wieder kühler und beruhigte mich. Das Ganze hatte mich jedoch so sehr erschöpft, dass ich in Senad’s Armen einschlief.
